For movies or TV shows with more details, it is best to use 3D animation software like 3DS Max or Maya, which take more time and knowledge to learn how to use them.

To animate for a film or TV show on your own, it would be best if you had some experience in film editing or animation because there will be more detail involved in order to make the project successful.
