The Visionary Behind TransCast Media
The foundation of TransCast Media was laid by Zuhaib Ramzan Bhatti, a passionate creative professional whose journey began at a very young age. His career started as a child storyteller, when his very first story was published in Phool Kalyan, a weekly edition of the renowned national newspaper Nawai Waqt.
From the beginning, his connection with Urdu journalism and literature shaped his creative thinking. As a keen observer of society, he contributed to various magazines, expressing social realities through storytelling. Over time, he evolved into a poet, gaining international recognition when his work was selected as a semi-finalist in an international poetry contest held in France (1997–1998).
Early Career in Media & Storytelling
In June 2004, Zuhaib Bhatti took a significant step forward by making his debut as a Documentary Director focused on children’s literature. During his time in Islamabad, where he pursued certification in Electronic Media, he further polished his skills.
The following year, under the guidance of his production mentor, he produced a drama titled “Talash”, based on the emotional story of a missing child. This project marked the beginning of his journey into television production and storytelling through visual media.
Academic Growth & Professional Development
After returning from Islamabad, he continued his passion for media production while enrolling at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science and Technology, Nawabshah. During his academic years:
- He successfully completed multiple short film projects
- He trained local TV reporters and correspondents in camera techniques
- He developed strong leadership and production skills
His dedication and hands-on experience made him stand out in the field.
Breakthrough in Television Industry
In 2008, immediately after completing his university education, Zuhaib Bhatti was offered an opportunity by a national-level TV channel. Within just one month, he played a key role in successfully launching on-air test transmission from Thailand—a milestone achievement in his career.
After moving to Lahore, he served as Director Programs and Producer for various mainstream TV channels. His diverse portfolio includes:
